As Christians we have redemption through the precious blood of Jesus (refer to Ephesians 1:7). We were bought with the highest price, the blood of the Son of God. There is no other way to be redeemed. In this redemption we are delivered from the bondage of sin and so we who were once alienated from a holy God have now been reconciled (refer to 2 Corinthians 5:18). We were alienated because of sin, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (refer to Romans 3:23). However, the good news is in part of Romans 3:24-25 where we see we are justified freely (good works can't save, only Jesus' work on the cross) by His grace (unmerited, undeserved favour) through the redemption (bought back with a price) that is in Christ Jesus whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (substitute sacrifice) through faith (complete trust) in his blood. This means we belong to God now and should use our bodies and spirits to glorify Him (refer to 1 Corinthians 6:20).
