Christians are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8) and so they are justified (made righteous - in right standing with God) and will inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). As Christians, we are headed to the kingdom of God but not by our own works, it’s the grace of God, personified in Jesus and our faith in Him and His finished work on the cross that gets us where we are going. However, Charles H. Spurgeon once said, “the grace that does not change my life will not save my soul”. It’s so important that genuine transformation happens and so when we put our faith in Jesus and don’t view grace as a system to be abused but the person of Jesus Christ to be loved, hearts are changed, and lives will eventually be to. This isn’t to say Christians are perfect, a righteous man falls seven times, but the word also says they rise again (refer to Proverbs 24:16). So remember, it is His good pleasure to give us the kingdom (Luke 12:32) but only the born again will see the kingdom of God (refer to John 3:3).
